Beingan Air Force Officer he went on to position himself in the prestigious I.P.S. during the post-independence era, later, retiring as the D.I.G. of Police.He enjoyed extremely active social and professional lifestyle, undeterred by his failing health due to a heart ailment.Ironically, my father's cardiac ailment inspired me to establish a well-equipped cardiac care unit for the residents of East Delhi .Bearing this cherished desire.
